Portland United Youth F.C. is a football club, which was formed in July 2002, originally as Portland Panthers. The Panthers joined Portland United F.C. as their youth section following discussions in June 2003. During the summer of 2003, the club was awarded the F.A. Charter Standard award. For season 2007 / 2008 there are teams entered from the ages of under 8 to under 15, including a girls under 12 team.
The idea behind Portland United Youth F.C. is to give the younger children on the Island and surrounding areas some sort of activity and hobby that can help to keep them keep fit and healthy whilst having fun.
We welcome all children from Portland who have an interest in playing football, but our numbers do have to be limited. Therefore we operate a waiting list system, to which the child’s details will be added.
